Bhatkal: One more patient from Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district infected with novel Coronavirus has recovered and is discharged from INS Navy Patanjali hospital, Karwar today.

The patient who had been from Dubai to Bhatkal was tested positive for COVID-19 on March 27. He was then immediately given treatment at Bhatkal government hospital and was later shifted to Patanjali hospital, Karwar.

So far Uttara Kannada district reported 11 cases of COVID-19 positive, among which 9 have been cured and discharged successfully.

The two remaining patients are a couple, wherein the husband is getting treated at Karwar, while his wife is being treated at Udupi.
