Udupi: The District Health Department has set up nine quarantine centres in order to monitor health and food intake of the suspected COVID-19 patients, a statement said here on Friday.

According to the statement, the Quarantine centres have been set up in SDM Ayurvedic Hospital, Ajjarakad Library Building, Hariprasad Hotel in Kundapur, Devaraja Arasu Hostel in Kundapur and Bhuvanendra Boys’ Hostel.

Normal food would be provided to suspected patients and they would be kept in quarantine. The quarantine period of foreign returnees in the district was over, the statement added.
