Bengaluru,: The Karnataka Government has announced to defer holding Class 10 (Secondary School Leaving Certificate-SSLC) examination scheduled to be held from March 27 in view of killer disease Covid-19 which is spreading like wildfire in the world.
Minister for Primary and Secondary S Suresh Kumar told newsmen that the decision was taken after consulting experts of concerned department, Ministers and officials.
Earlier, State Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, speaking to newsmen after a meeting with concerned Ministers and officials, at his residence had announced about postponement of the SSLC examination.
