Honnavar: A team of Corona Warriors travelled across three districts, amid the lockdown to deliver medicines to an ailing three-month-old child in Honnavara here.

The child and his mother, hailing from Kallapu in Mangaluru were stranded at Honnavar after announcement of the lockdown. The medicines needed for the child was not available locally there and his father, Robin D’souza was unable to go the distance owing to the travel restrictions during the lockdown guidelines.

An immensely worried D’souza is said to have placed a call to helpline of ''Corona Warriors'' led by Information and Public Relations Department Secretary P Manivannan in Bengaluru and briefed them about his predicament.
