Bhatkal: A team comprising of officials, workers and health officials launched to create awareness on coronavirus in Bhatkal town by Town Muncipal Council by distributing pamphlets on precautionary measures to be taken to contain the spread of the disease.

The team will also visit houses to create awareness. The public should not panic but should avoid large gatherings and maintain personal hygiene.

Healthy persons need not to wear masks. However, precautions such as washing hands frequently, should be taken. One should not visit the crowded places.

TMC chief officer Deveraj, Health Inspector Sujiya and other officials were present.
