Congress party celebrates in Bhatkal, Kumta as victory marks in Karnataka by-elections

Bhatkal: After the victory of Congress in Karnataka state's by-elections​ at Gundlupet and Nanjanagundi, the congress party workers marked a winning celebrations in various cities of state including Bhatkal and Kumta. In Bhatkal, the congress party workers burnt crackers and distributed sweets near Shamsuddin circle. While at other side, in Kumta too the party workers burnt crackers and expressed their happiness by gathering near town's Gibb circle.

In Bhatkal, the congress party workers led a procession from it's office located at Sagar road till Shamsuddin circle and accordingly the slogans for victory were screamed. On this occasion Bhatkal block congress president Vittal Naik, Senior leader Ram Mukri, Bhatkal taluka panchayat president Ishwar Naik, APMC president Gopal Naik, ZP member Sindhu Bhaskar Naik, Taluka panchayat standing committee chairman Vishnu Devadiga among many others were present.

While in Kumta, the congress leaders and party workers gathered at Gibb circle and burnt crackers and expressed their happiness over the victory. On this occasion, Kumta MLA Sharada Shetty, Youth congress leader Ravikumar Shetty, Ganapathi Shetty among many others were present.
