Chikkamagaluru: Alleging that Shobha Karandlaje, MP, has been missing for many days, Koppa Block Committee of the Congress has submitted an appeal to the Koppa police to launch a look out for her.

The party alleged the MP, who represents Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency in the Lok Sabha, has not responded to the issues concerning the constituency.

“She has not spoken about the Dr. Kasturirangan committee’s report on Western Ghats in the Lok Sabha ... The State government has opposed the committee’s report.

However, so far, she has not spoken on the issue,” Sudhir Kumar Murolli, block president of the party, told the reporters.

He said the party’s move was symbolic as the MP has neither visited the constituency nor addressed the issues related to the constituency in recent days.
