Chief Minister Basawraj Bommai-led Karnataka Governmnet on Saturday approved 11 projects worth over Rs 1.74 lakh crore.
The 60th meeting of the State High-Level Clearance Committee held at Krishna presided by Bommai approved 11 projects with a total investment of Rs 1,74,381.44 crore.
This is the first time that the state has cleared projects of this tune.

The Indian Space Research Organisation has acquired land for the proposed rocket launch site in Tamil Nadu where a launch pad would be set up, the chief of the space agency said on Sunday.
ISRO chairman S Somanath said the space agency was currently in the process of consolidating the land at Kulasekarapatnam in Thoothukudi district, about 650 kilometres from here.
