Various political parties and farmers organisations in Dakshina Kannada district have extended support to the nationwide bandh call given by farmers on December 8.
While a rasta roko protest will be held at Nanthoor in the city at 10am on Tuesday, similar protests will be held by various pro-farmer organisations across the district.

Amid the national shutdown against new agri laws of the Centre, farmer leaders in Maharashtra on Tuesday accused the government of favouring corporates by bringing these legislations.
