India shuttler PV Sindhu will not be able to return with a silver or gold in the women's singles event after losing to Chinese Taipei's Tai Tzu-Ying in the semi-finals of the ongoing Tokyo Olympics here at the Musashino Forest Plaza Court 1 on Saturday. Karnataka government on Saturday announced a special surveillance measure making mandatory a negative RT-PCR certificate for people arriving to the State from Kerala and Maharashtra. The negative certificate should not be older than 72 hours irrespective of the vaccination status, said the government in a circular.

BJP minister in the Meghalaya government Sanbor Shullai encouraged the people of the state to eat more beef than chicken, mutton and fish, dispelling the apprehension that his party was against it.
