Mangaluru: In view of the prevailing global situation, Coast Guard Karnataka took initiatives to create awareness amongst the CG personnel, civilian staff and families in efforts to take precautions, so that the contagious Covid-19 is curtailed.

For the benefit of CG personnel, posters have been displayed at the entrance and at prominent places in the office premises and residential areas including CG KG School on precautions to be taken to prevent the spread of the disease.

The posters graphically display the Do’s and Don’t to be observed to protect oneself and others from the spread of Covid-19.

All CG personnel and their families were advised to frequently wash their hands with sanitizer/soap and water at regular intervals. They also requested them to cover their nose and mouth with handkerchief/tissue while coughing/sneezing.

Video clips issued by the Department of Health and Family Welfare are also being played in CCTV for the benefit of the CG personnel.
