Bhatkal: A clash occurred between two groups regarding the installment of DJ system during Ganesh festival and its cost management in which around 10 people were injured in Bailoor under Murdeshwar police station limits.

However, complaints have been lodged at the Murdeshwar police station by both the groups. One group has stated that around 15 members from the other group attacked them which has left 6 of their members injured while the latter has complined that they were attacked by 16 people and 4 of their members were injured in the fight.

The members injured from the first group are Nagama Venkatraman Naik, Bharat Venkat Raman Naik, Anand Naik, Madhav Mahabaleshwar Naik, Ganesh Mahabaleshwar Naik and Radha Mastapa Naik while the ones said to be injured from second group have been identified as Nagraj Madhav Naik, Ganesh Naik, Yogesh Naik and Chandras Naik.

Both cases have been registered by Mursdeshwar police and investigations are under way.
