Mangaluru: The driver of a car died after the vehicle reportedly rammed a KSRTC bus near the Valachil bus stop here on Tuesday.

The police said that the bus bound for Puttur had stopped at the Valachil bus stop to allow passengers to board.

The car moving in the same direction reportedly rammed the stationary bus.

Passers-by and passengers on the bus called an ambulance and shifted the injured driver Badila Guthu Vasantharam Shetty (87) but he died before reaching the hospital.
