Byndoor: A fisherman, identified as Venkataramana (65) from Shirur, passed away tragically after falling ill during his return from a fishing expedition. 

Venkataramana had ventured into the sea on a fishing boat, and as he was making his way back to the shore after fishing, he fell ill approximately 20 meters from the shore, ultimately falling into the sea.

Emergency services promptly transported him to Byndoor Government Hospital, where it was reported that his condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to his unfortunate demise en route to the hospital. 

Byndoor police station has registered a case.
