Mangalore: A youth has been arrested by Kavoor police and booked him under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, for abusing a college girl and pressurizing her to engage in sexual activity with him.

According to sources the arrested accused is identified as Puneet Pujari (21) a resident of Moodushedde in Mangalore taluk. It is learnt that police are looking for his 2 friends who were also involved in the same issue. They were identified as Prithvi and Vilaas. Puneet is accused for extorting a college girl and sending naked images. Also, he has made a naked image of that girl and threatened her that he will post it on social media  if she did not favourably respond to his overtures. His two friends are also accused for helping him.  Girl approached Kavoor police station and case has been registered. Police immediately arrested Puneet and produced him in the court while they are looking for other two accused.
