Kumta: The body of another fisherman, who drowned on 19th July, was found on 21st July, Thursday morning around 9:30am at Vanalli beach in Kumta.

The deceased has been identified as Abul Hasan Ali Abuji (40).

Abul Hasan Ali Abuji hailing from Vanalli in Kumta and Muhammed Hasan Adam (28) from Bhatkal had drowned after their boat capsized in middle of the Arabian sea during fishing on 19th July, Tuesday. The body of Muhammed Hasan Adam was traced on Wednesday morning while the body of Abul Hasan was found today.

It is reported that Abul Hasan was the sole bread winner of the family and, since a decade, made his living by fishing. He is survived by wife, 4 daughters and 2 sons.

The body was taken to Kumta govt hospital, where the post mortem was conducted. Later it was handed over to their relatives.

Hundreds of people gathered outside his house to pay their respect at Vanalli, it is learnt.
