Udupi: A boat carrying six fishermen capsized here in Arabian sea at Hejamadi in the district on Sunday, as a result, one of the fishermen is reportedly missing, while remaining five were rescued.

The missing fishermen is Sukhesh (25), a resident of Kodi in Hejamadi.

Sources informed that the incident happened when the fishermen had been to fishing on an mechanized boat belonging to Ekanath Karkera or Hejamadi, during which their boat got trapped with rough weather conditions in the sea, causing it to capsize.
