Karwar: A black lion-tailed macaque was electrocuted near Mahime village in Honnavar on Friday.

Forest officials suspect that the macaque came in contact with a live high tension wire which passes through NH -206 near Mahime, while jumping from one tree to another at the Aghanashini Lion-tailed Macaque Conservation Reserve.
