Mangaluru: Former minister B Ramanath Rai alleged that development projects with a percentage (commission) to BJP leaders are being implemented in the district.

However, Rai refused to name the BJP leaders who were ‘receiving a cut’ in the development works as their commission and appealed the reporters to investigate.

“Just talk to some of the corporations,” he said with a smile.

Rai also condemned BJP for mocking at Congress.

“When they say Congress is unfit to be in the opposition, I say that the BJP is not fit to be in power. BJP leaders are criticising Congress and saying Congress has no other work,” he said. 

“In reality, BJP, which had no work, came to power through Operation Kamala by using the Central government funds,” Rai lashed
