Bhatkal: Five students of Anjuman College for Women brought a milestone to the college after securing University ranks in B.A, B.Sc and B.com semester exams from Akka Mahadevi Women University, Vijaypura, which was held in the academic year 2020-21.

According to a press release issued by the college Principal Mrs Raisa Shaikh, in Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Fathima Sidra D/o Ziyauddin Ahmed Damda Abu scored 2812 marks out of 3120 with 90.13% and secured 2nd Rank rank in university. In Bachelor of Science (B.sc): Nameen Khanam D/o Aziz Ahmed Pathan scored 3091 marks out of 3280 with 94.24% and secured 1st rank. While Aysha Fathana D/o Mohammed Jaffer scored 2964 marks with 90.37% and secured the third rank, Saiha D/o Mohammed Siraj Shingeri scored 2900 marks with 88.41% and secured the ninth rank in the University. In Bachelor of Commerce (B.com): Ufaira Sanober D/o Syed Abdul Khadir scored 2060 marks out of 3360 with 91.07% and secured the fourth Rank in university. These students with their exceptional performance have not only made their whole College proud but also the entire district of Uttara Kannada.

To add a mark, for the previous many years, Anjuman college is consecutively performing better and secured ranks in the Karnataka state Women University, Vijaypura. The Principal also credited the lecturers for their brilliant teaching and continuous guidance which helped the students to achieve their goals.
