Bhatkal: Of the two tourists who went missing while enjoying the sea at Murdeshwar on Thursday, the body of one person was found on the Murdeshwar Beach on Thursday late night.

The deceased has been identified as Sushant M S (23) of Agumbe in Shivamogga district.

A postmortem of the body was conducted and then was handed over to the family.

Meanwhile, police could not trace the body of Sheikh Abrar Pasha, another tourist from Shrinivaspur in Kolar district, who too had gone missing. Police continued the search operation and also pressed special boats into service to trace the body on Friday.
