Bhatkal: Blood donation camp was organised by Anjuman BBA and BCA College, Bhatkal in association with Abdul Bari Moulana Trust, Bhatkal Government Hospital and Udupi Government Hospital Blood Bank, here at College premises in Bhatkal on Monday.  

After inaugurating the camp, Chief Guest of the function, Dr. Savita Kamat, Medical Officer of Bhatkal Taluka Hospital said,“Donating blood also keeps a person healthy. Go ahead and save lives, One unit of blood can save more than three lives".

On this occasion Medical Officer of Blood Bank Udupi, Dr Veena Kumari said that everyone should come forward to donate blood as we can help other.

More than 100 students including 10 ladies donated their blood at the camp after which they were awarded with certificates as a mark of honor.

On this occasion Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Additional Secretary Ishaque Shabandri, College Secretary Aftab Qamri, Principal Mohammed Mohsin K, Nazeer Kasimiji, Abdul Khalique Damda Abu, Irshad Siddiqua and many others were present.
