Bhatkal: An SSLC student of Anjuman Girls High School, Bhatkal was killed, while another suffered injuries after they were hit by  a vehicle when they were crossing the road near Shamshuddin Circle on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Aysha Niza D/o Ilyas.

Niza's body was handed over to her family after autopsy at civil hospital.

The injured Qamarunnisa (40) have been hospitalized in Kundapur.

A case had been registered at Bhatkal Police station.
