Bhatkal: Anjuman Institute of Technology & Management - Civil Engineering department in association with an Architectural and Design firm, D-firm had on 3rd November organized a day long webinar on the topic "3D Modelling of Building using Google SketchUp".

More than 100 students & faculty members from various Engineering Colleges across India (Goa, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal) actively participated in the Webinar. The registration for the Webinar was kept open for all, with no registration fee. The Resource Person was Mr. Khaleelur Rahman Shabandari, who first introduced the various features & tools in the SketchUp software.

Demonstration of conversation of a 2-dimensional AutoCAD plan into a beautiful 3-dimensional house was the key feature of the Webinar.

The session was carried out on an interactive hands-on mode in order to ensure effective learning. The trainer encouraged the participants to explore more features of the software which are simple and easy to understand and use.

The Webinar ended with a Q&A session, which the participants found very productive & useful.  

E-Participation Certificates were distributed to all the trainees.
