Bhatkal: To collect the stock of public grievances, 'Janaspandana' program was held here at Lion sports center hall, for the residents of ward 20 and 21 that includes Farooqui street, Gousia street, Showkat Ali road, Shazli street and Takiya street. 

The major issues that dominated the meeting included installation of barricades on bridge at Gousia street, to detect the leakage in UGD chamber and take up a cleaning drive of the water wells that are polluted. The residents also stressed officials to restart the fountain that has been constructed near flower market and Urban bank, and the garbage collection should be done door to door every day. 

Other issues included the repair of roads, street lights, prevention of infectious insects etc.

The meeting was presided by Fayyaz Mulla.

On this occasion TMC chief officer Devaraj, Farooqui Masjid General Secretary Nayeem Motia, Irshad Gawai, Noorul Huda Shingeri, TMC officials Shastri, Soujiya Woman, Ganesh Bhat, Engineer Umesh and others were present.
