Bhatkal: A 22-year-old man from Bhatkal, who had returned from Dubai on March 19 has tested positive for Coronavirus, Sindhu B Rupesh, Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada informed on Sunday. 

Speaking at pressmeet , DC Sindhu B Rupesh said, he had symptoms of Coronavirus during screening at the airport on March 19, later he was admitted to Wenlock Hospital and his throat swab was collected and sent for test on March 20. 

The report reached on Sunday was tested positive for Coronavirus. 

The passenger had arrived at Mangaluru International Airport in a SpiceJet flight on March 19 at 5.40 PM.
