Bhatkal: A 31-year-old woman, who suffered snakebite when she was working in a farm, died in the hospital on Sunday. Nagveni Narayan Devadiga of Mundali in Bhatkal taluk suffered snakebite when she was working in the farm. She was rushed to the local hospital and medical assistance was given to the victim immediately, but she breathed her last within a few hours.

The body has been handed over to her family after the post modem conducted at Bhatkal government hospital.
