Bhatkal: Century-old social organisation Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem will organise a two-day Mega Voter ID Camp in Bhatkal on May 19 and 20 to facilitate voter registration, correction and updating of electoral details ahead of Karnataka’s upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.

According to a press release, the camp will be held from 10 am to 4 pm at the Tanzeem Office on Siddique Street in Bhatkal.

The camp aims to assist eligible citizens in applying for new voter identity cards, inclusion of names in the electoral roll, and correction of errors in existing voter ID cards. Large-scale updating and correction work related to voter records will also be undertaken during the programme.

Citizens above 18 years of age have been requested to attend the camp with necessary documents, including identity proof, address proof, age proof, passport-size photographs, an Aadhaar-linked mobile phone, and xerox copies of all required documents.

Tanzeem has appealed to all eligible residents to make use of the opportunity and complete voter registration and correction formalities without delay.
