
Bhatkal: Superintendent of Police (SP) for Uttara Kannada, Mr. M. Narayan, was recently honored with the prestigious DGP-IGP Award by the Karnataka State Police Department. In recognition of this achievement, the prominent social organization Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem, Bhatkal, felicitated the SP and presented him with a bouquet of flowers, commending his leadership in maintaining peace and order across the district.
A delegation led by senior office-bearer of the organization, Azizur Rahman Ruknuddin Nadwi, met SP Narayan in Karwar and appreciated the efforts of the police department under his leadership. He conveyed that Tanzeem is willing to extend full support to the police in their efforts to preserve communal harmony and uphold law and order, especially in Bhatkal and the surrounding areas.
In response, SP Narayan expressed his gratitude to the delegation and assured them that the police department is committed to taking all necessary measures to ensure peace throughout the district. He also emphasized that illegal activities will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Extending greetings on the occasion of Eid ul-Adha, SP Narayan wished all Muslims a peaceful and joyous celebration. He urged the community to ensure that the festivities are conducted in a way that respects the sentiments of people from all faiths.
The delegation also included other members of Tanzeem, notably Advocate Imran Lanka, Altaf Kharuri, and Mubeen Damudi.
