Bhatkal: The Bhatkal Tahsildar's Office on Thursday accorded a warm farewell to Huvva G. Gowda, who retired after serving the Revenue Department for nearly three decades.

Speaking at the farewell function, Tahsildar Nagendra Kolashetty lauded Gowda's dedication, punctuality and commitment to public service. He noted that Gowda had played a significant role in the functioning of the office and had discharged his responsibilities with sincerity throughout his career.

Expressing gratitude, Gowda said he had served the government with honesty and dedication and thanked officers, colleagues and the public for their support during his service.

Gowda was felicitated in the presence of his family members, colleagues and officials of the Tahsildar's Office. The programme was attended by deputy tahsildars, revenue officials, village administrative officers and other staff members.
