Bhatkal: Two teams of students from Sri Guru Vidyadhiraj The New English PU College, Bhatkal, have won the first and second prizes in the national-level robot model-making competition ‘Robothon 2.0’ organised by Odisha-based Techiguide Private Limited.

 

According to college principal Dr. Virendra V. Shanbhag, a college team comprising Vikas Vasu Moger and Charan Nagappa Naik secured the first prize for their robot model under the guidance of lecturer William Fernandes. Another team comprising Kavanaa Sridhar Naik and Kirthana Naik won the second prize under the guidance of lecturer Sanket Naik.

 

Bhatkal Education Trust president Surendra Shanbhag and the teaching and non-teaching staff congratulated both teams on their achievement and conveyed their best wishes.
