Bhatkal: Following the revaluation of II PUC examination papers, a student from Bhatkal taluk has brought laurels to the town by achieving distinction at the state level.

Tejas Ravi Naik, a science student of Sri Guru Vidhyadhiraj The New English PU College, scored an impressive 99 percent and secured the 6th rank in the state. He also secured the 2nd rank in Uttara Kannada district and emerged as the topper in Bhatkal taluk.

Tejas is the son of Ravi Naik, who serves as an ASI at the Coastal Police Station.

The college management, principal, lecturers, and his family members have expressed happiness over his achievement and congratulated him on his success.
