Bhatkal: The results of the Second Pre-University Course (PUC-II) examinations for the academic year 2026 have been announced, with leading institutions in Bhatkal taluk—Siddharth Pre-University College, Bhatkal, and Siddharth Composite PU College, Shirali—registering an impressive 100% pass percentage in both Science and Commerce streams.

At Siddharth Pre-University College, Bhatkal, students delivered outstanding performances across streams. In the Science section, Tanmay Shet secured the first rank with 590 marks out of 600 (98.33%). Prateek Chipkar and Bhavana Prabhakar Naik jointly secured the second rank with 586 marks (97.76%), while Pratiksha Devadiga stood third with 585 marks (97.50%).

In the Commerce stream, Maheshwar Naik topped with 552 marks (92.00%), followed by Sahana R. Naik with 541 marks (90.16%). Preetam Naik secured the third position with 539 marks (89.83%).

Similarly, Siddharth Composite PU College, Shirali, also achieved a 100% result, with all students passing in distinction. In the Science stream, Ganeshkumar Achari secured first rank with 587 marks (97.83%), followed by Kaushalya Madev Naik with 575 marks (95.83%) and Pooja Raju Naik with 574 marks (95.67%).

In the Commerce stream, Prateesh P.N. topped with 559 marks (93.17%). Aishwarya N. Naik and Kritika R. jointly secured second rank with 554 marks (92.33%), while Vinay R.C. stood third with 545 marks (90.83%).

The institutions also recorded several subject-wise centums. A total of 6 students scored full marks in Physics, 1 in Chemistry, 10 in Mathematics, 11 in Computer Science, 4 in Biology, 8 in Kannada, and 2 in Hindi.

Overall, a large number of students secured distinctions and first-class results, reflecting the high academic standards maintained by the institutions.

The management, principals, and faculty members of both colleges have congratulated the students for their remarkable achievements.
