Bhatkal: Ramsena's founder, Prasad Attavar stated that, Ramsena will host a district level "Ghar Wapsi" program in Bhatkal on 23rd April, in which around 50 members of 20 families who had previously converted to other religions for various reasons are expected to convert back to Hindu religion.
It might be noted that, couple of days back a file photo of Namadari community's swami was used without permission, in Bhatkal, while announcing the program, which led to the conflict against Ramsena Bhatkal leader Shankar Naik. Later Shankar Naik apologized in Asarkeri temple for using swami's photo in the presence of Namadari community leaders.
As per Prasad Attavar, all preparations for the upcoming "Ghar Wapsi" program has been completed. Other than this, legal advice have also been taken. He also added that many swamis too will witness the program. Similar program will also be soon conducted in other districts like Udupi, Mandya, Mysore and Chitradurga, where some people who have converted into other religions due to 'love jihad' and other reasons will be brought back to their previous religion.
