Bhatkal: The administrative committee of Imam Abu Haneefa Masjid in Bhatkal gifted bicycles for children of Shabeena maktab who  attended Fajr prayers on congregation for last 60 days consecutively, aiming to encourage them to keep up with their dawn prayers.

The Masjid Committee, which sponsored the whole initiative gifted 12 bicycles to children who prayed Fajr in congregation.

Present as the chief guest in the event, General Secretary of Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Nadvi Academy, Bhatkal, Maulana Ilyaz Jakti Nadvi, addressing the gathering, said, children should focus on character building and should completely avoid doing the wrong things. He also lauded the committee members for setting up an historic initiative in Bhatkal. 

On this occasion, students of Maktab presented various performances on recitation of Dua, naat, Qur'an reading, etc.

The program was presided by Syed Abdur Rahman Batin Saheb.

On this occasion, Khateeb of Tanzeem Juma Masjid Maulana Ansar Madani, Committee vice-president Syed Zafrullah Peerzade, General Secretary Abdul Haqeem Momin, Maulana Qais and many others were present.
