Bhatkal:  A youth succumbed to his injuries today, that were sustained after his bike crashed into a private bus at Bhatkal Shamsuddin Circle on Thursday night.

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Badee Kazia (18), son of Huzaifa Kazia and a resident of Moosa Nagar.

According to sources, he was returning to his house on a bike with his friend Zeeshan Sunehri after visiting the Ramadan bazar when his speeding bike rammed into a private bus which had returned from Kundapur and was  taking a turn near the circle. The victim collided with the bus first and then to an electric pole nearby which caused serious head injuries. He was rushed to Adarsh hospital yesterday where he breathed his last today at 7 pm.

The deceased was a student in a college at Murdeshwar and had recently passed  his 1st PUC. 

His father has reportedly left from Jeddah for his funeral.
