MLA Mankal Vaidya said that the highest amount of cash in the district was alloted to Bhatkal Taluk. An amount of 40 crore rupees has been sanctioned in this regard. Bhatkal will have a headstart owing to the leadership of District in Charge Minister RV Deshpande, he added.
