Bhatkal: A one day management fest is going to be organized by Department of Management Studies(MBA), AITM(Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management), Bhatkal on 2nd April, Sunday.
“arCANa’17” is going to be its annual flagship event. It will be a mixture of various events namely Best Manager(Gerent), Wealth Management(Weltance), Strategic CSR(Heal the world), General Management(Yonetim) and Business Plan(Start to Stand).
Addressing a press meet, Principal M A Bhavikatti told that the first edition of arCANa was a huge hit and had witnessed around 200 participants from Karnataka.
"arCANa is the signature event which offers plethora of opportunities. The purpose of the event is to bring up the healthy competition among the students from various colleges to provide them platform for self-assessment before the step into the corporate world”, he added.
Prof Wakas Barmawer, who is the event coordinator, said that this year the events will be based upon the latest schemes of the central government such as Start up India, Skill India, Cashless India, Digital India, etc…
He further added, “Around 25 colleges are expected to enter and we have invited colleges from Mangalore to Dharwad and we have extended an invitation to colleges from Goa and Kerala as well.”
Prizes worth Rs.1 lakh will be given away to the winners in the event which is scheduled to be on 2nd April at AITM campus.
