Bhatkal Administration begins door-to-door survey to identify foreign returnees to contain Covid-19 spread

Bhatkal: As coronavirus pandemic is in high flow, government has started using a unique networking system to contain the spread of the virus in the state.

As part of the control measures taken up by the adminsitartion, all ASHA and health workers have been instructed to go on surveys, check on foreign returnees and make sure every foreign returnee is home isolated.

ASHA workers have been visiting houses and taking details of any person who might have come in contact with any foreign returnee or are having any symptoms of the presence of the virus.

If they come across any suspected case, they have been asked to immediately alert the medical teams and keep them in isolation.

Earlier, in the morning Uttara Kannada Zilla Panchayat CEO Mohammed Roshan visted Bhatkal and held a meeting with ASHA workers and officails of Bhatkal.
