Bhatkal: Demanding a thorough probe into the suicide of DySP Ganapati, after his son filed a complaint against K S George, ABVP of Bhatkal unit staged a protest and  submitted an appeal through Assistant Commissioner to the State Governor on 12th July, Tuesday. 

In this appeal, ABVP has alleged that the DySP ended his life because of the pressure from his senior officers and ministers. Honest officers are mentally harrassed by frequent postings and pressure from higher officials. The police officers commits suicide because of depression. 

They alleged that even though, DySP Ganpathi has named minister K J George in his suicide note but the Siddaramiah government is protecting the minister, they said. They demanded that K J George submit his resignation papers. 

 On this occasion ABVP leader Devakar and others were present.
