Bhatkal: The Uttara Kannada District Football Association, in association with the Karnataka State Football Association, organized the annual Football League Championship 2020 in Sirsi and Byndoor held from 16th to 23rd February, wherein the Bhatkal Inter Football Association (BIFA) clinched the championship title.
In the Zone A of the league played at Forest college in Sirsi, the teams of Dandeli, Marikamba Sirsi, Mundgod, and Revanth Kumta had participated, from which the teams Marikamba Sirsi and Revanth Kumta managed to qualify for semi-finals. While in the Zone B of the tournament played at Byndoor, the teams of Bhatkal BIFA, Bhatkal, Honnavar, Manki, Karwar, and Shiroor had participated, in which Bhatkal BIFA and Shiroor teams managed to enter semi-finals.
In semi-finals, Bhatkal BIFA and RUFC Shiroor made their way into finals after outclassing Sirsi and Revanth Kumta teams respectively. In the final match between BIFA Bhatkal and RUFC Shiroor, the score was equalized, after which through a penalty shootout, BIFA Bhatkal won the championship title by beating Shiroor with 5-3.
In the presentation ceremony, Chief patron of UKDFA Hifzurrahman Barmavar was present as the chief guest, while All-District In-Charge Karnataka State Ranjit Kumar was the guest of honour. On this occasion, Former vice-president of Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem Inayatullah Shabandari, MH Gani, Abdul Gafoor Shaikh Shiroor, Ahmed Mohtesham, Maviya Mohtesham, Fahad Shabandari, Arfath Tonse, Atiq and many others were present.

Best striker: Salar Sheikh ( RUFC)
Best goalkeeper: ADIL ( RUFC)
Best playmaker: Maaz Sheikh ( BIFA FC)
Best defender: Nadeed Kadli ( BIFA FC )
Best emerging player: Jasir SK (BIFA FC)
UKDFA hall of fame award: Mr Wasif MH (Founder member RUFC)
