Mangaluru: Belthangady police arrested three people who were moving uspiciously in a car at Pottukere in Kuvettu village and seized stolen gold ornaments weighing 115 grams, 61 grams of silver ornaments, laptop and mobile phones.

The arrested are Sathish alias Scorpio Sathish (33) of Mundaje, Ravi alias Puttu Ravi alias Jeethu (29) of Aryapu and Harish Poojary (29) of Kudupu.

The police also seized two bikes, one car and four mobile phones from the arrested. The value of the seized property is Rs 5.50 lakh. All the arrested were produced in court, which remanded them in judicial custody.

Man arrested

Vittal police arrested a man on the charges of harassing a minor, in Vittal Police station jurisdiction.

The arrested is Manohar. He was harassing a minor to love him for the last one year. On February 2, he harassed the girl when she had gone shopping to purchase a few household articles.

The police have booked cases under IPC section 354 (D), Section 8 and 12 of Pocso Act.
