Belthangady: The CCTV footage of a house has captured the movement of a leopard in the yard of Ramanna Poojary at Parari in Balanja village. 

The forest department has placed a cage to capture the leopard.

The residents in the village have been noticing the dogs and cats going missing in recent days.

Fear has gripped the residents after a leopard was spotted in the yard of a house. 

Aladangadi RFO Suresh said a cage had been placed with a dog as bait.

We will capture the leopard at the earliest, he assured.
