Bhatkal: MLA Mankal Vaidya inaugurated 'Panchayat- 100 Bapuji Seva Kendra' launched by the State government at Heble grama panchayat in Bhatkal on 25th July.

 The scheme was launched with an intention to avail different services pertaining revenue, RDPR and other departmental services under one roof.

As per the reports, these centers will be inaugurated at 1000 grama panchayats all over the state. Uttara Kannada has 64 centres lined up for the inaugural including three centres in Bhatkal taluk. 

Citizens can access their income and caste certificates, RTC, housing certificate among other services. Even Vehicle insurance,  Life insurance,  DTH and data card recharge, bus, train and flight booking and money transfer and other services are also provided at this center.

Zilla panchayat president Jayashree Moger, vice president of taluk panchayat Radha Ashok Naik, Zilla panchayat members Albert D'Costa, Sindhu Bhaskar Rashmi, Vishnu Devadiga, president of Belke grama panchayat Ramesh Naik and vice president Chandavati, Hescom director Manjunath Naik, director of Valmiki Nigam Venkatesh Gond and other were present at the inaugural function.
