Mangaluru: Kankanady police nabbed four persons here at Shaktinagar on 2nd September, Saturday in connection to the attempt to murder case registered on a motor cycle rider.
The arrested accused have been identified as Vishal alias Vishal Kumar (20 yrs), Prathviraj alias Putta (19 yrs), Abhishek alias Mani (23 yrs) and Sachin (21 yrs) from Nithinagar, Shaktinagar.
According to the sources, Tejas was on his way to home with his colleague Saju on 30th August, when a group of four persons waylaid his two-wheeler and assaulted Tejas with machetes and attempted to kill him near Sanidhya School in Bolya here.
A case was registered in this regard by Tejas at Kankanady police station and upon receiving Intel that the gang is meeting up at a house in Shaktinagar, Inspector of the police station Ravi Naik along with his staff rushed and took the accused in custody.
The reason behind the murderous attack is still unknown.
