Kozhikode: Aster MIMS hospital, along with MIMS College of Nursing has today announced that they will be conducting a National level conference on “Transferring Nursing practice through Research and Dissemination”. The conference will be held on 10th, 11th and 12th of March 2017 at the Aster MIMS Hospital Auditorium, Mini Bye-Pass Road, Calicut.
This National Conference will be inaugurated on Friday by MrT.Dileep Kumar, President of Indian Nursing Council (INC). Prof.PrasannaKumariJoint Director of Kerala Nursing Education will be the guest of honor at the occasion.
This three-day conference will focus on Nursing, Education and Research. The conference will see the participation of Prof. Dr. RekhaOghale from RazalKhaima Medical University, UAE, Dr. Ajith Kumar, Research Dean, Kerala University of Health Sciences, Prof. AbantiGopan, NABH Assessor and Consultant, TATA Memorial Hospital, Dr.UshaUkande, Principal of Choithram College of Nursing - Indore, Dr. Babbenji, Sr Scientist, Department of Health Research - Govt. of India, Dr. Redemma, Nodal Officer of Ph.D. National consortium and former HoD of Nursing Department at NIMHANS, Bengaluru, Dr. LathaVenkatesan, Principal of Apollo college of Nursing, Chennai, Prof. Moly. K.T, Principal of Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi and Dr.Sreedevi.T.R, Associate Professor, Govt. College of Nursing, Kottayam will participate in the conference and share their expertise on the subject. Several research work and posters will be displayed in the conference.
MIMS College of Nursing started in the year 2003 to augment the educational objectives of MIMS Academy. This is the first NAAC accredited health science institute in the state of Kerala.
