Dubai: Health Magazine, in partnership with Thumbay Media , has officially opened nominations for the Annual Health Awards 2026, one of the UAE’s prominent healthcare recognition platforms, inviting entries from professionals, institutions, and innovators across the region.
According to the organisers, this year’s edition will feature more than 50 award categories spanning clinical excellence, surgical innovation, public health initiatives, wellness leadership, healthcare education, research, and patient care. The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held in October 2026 in Dubai, bringing together leading names from the healthcare sector across the UAE and GCC.
A key highlight of the 2026 edition is a dedicated segment recognising 15 outstanding UAE nationals for their contributions to the healthcare sector. The initiative, introduced last year, aims to promote and acknowledge the growing role of Emirati professionals in shaping the country’s healthcare landscape.
Organisers said the awards have evolved beyond a recognition platform, serving as a forum to showcase innovation, acknowledge impactful work, and share success stories from across the healthcare ecosystem. The programme is supported by multiple media partners and leverages the multi-platform reach of Thumbay Media, including television, print, digital, and social media.
To ensure transparency and credibility, the evaluation process will be conducted under an audited framework, with Knight Frank serving as the official jury partner. Entries will be reviewed by an independent panel comprising healthcare professionals, academicians, and industry experts.

Nominations opened on April 6, 2026, and will remain open until August 2026. Healthcare professionals, organisations, and innovators can submit their entries through the official awards portal by selecting relevant categories and detailing their achievements and impact.
