Kumta: The annaul program of Madrasa Zia-Ul-Quran Vanalli, Kumta was organized on 13th April, Thursday.

The program was initiated with the recitation of versus from Holy Quran followed by the recitation of Hamd by the students of Madrasa Zia-Ul-Quran.

The first session of the event began after Zohar prayer which included Quran reciting competition by Hafizs. Second session was carried after Asar prayer which held the Naat reciting competition, while the third and the final session marked after Isha prayer which witnessed Islamic scholars lecture in the presence of huge crowd.

The chief guest of the program, Qazi Markazi Khalifa Jamat-Ul-Muslimeen Bhatkal, Maulana Khwaja Mohiddin Akrami Madani addressed the gathering and congratulated the organisers. In his brief speech, he spoke on the importance on Madrasa. "We should be thankful to almighty Allah for his plenty of blessings upon us and need to lead a life according to his orders", he added.

Maulana Ansar Nadvi, Khateeb of Tanzeem Jamia Masjid Bhatkal, speaking on the occasion said, we have been blessed with the wealth of Islam and it's our responsibility to follow the orders of Islam. We have been instructed to follow the footsteps of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He also briefed on the history of "Hunnur" and "Ibn Batuta" in the coastal region.

The Hafizs who completed memorising holy Quran this year, had "Khatam ul Quran" from Maulana Niyamathullah Askeri, president of Jamiatul Huffaz, Bhatkal. Various programs from students of Madrasa Zia-Ul-Quran too held on the occasion.

Maulana Zakriya Nadvi, Khateeb of Vanalli Jamia Masjid welcomed​ the guests, while Maulana Iqbal Ahmed compered the event.

On the occasion, President of Vanalli JamatUl Muslimeen Abusaleha Mulla, Gen secretary Ali Shah Saheb, Janab Abdullah, Maulana Sawood Ahmed Nadvi, Maulana Niyamathullah Askeri among others were present on the stage.
