Bhatkal: The long-felt need of Anjuman Hami-E-Muslimeen, Bhatkal to have a new administrative building with all facilities will soon become a reality. The Jukaku Shamsuddin Memorial Administrative Building at Anjumanabad, next to the UGC Hostel, along with the SM Yahya Memorial PG Block (AITM) will be inaugurated at 10:30am on Sunday, July 17, 2016. According to Jukaku Abdul Rahim, President of Anjuman, "Considering the great services rendered by the two illustrious sons of Bhatkal, Jukaku Shamsuddin and SM Yahya, Anjuman  will dedicate the two buildings in their memory. The Jukaku Shamsuddin Memorial Administrative Building has been sponsored by the Family of Late Jukaku Shamsuddin.

On the occasion, a booklet on late Jukaku Shamsuddin, former deputy minister and general secretary of Anjuman, penned by community's prominent journalist Mr. Aftab Husain Kola, and published by Majlise Islah wa Tanzeem would be released on the occasion."

He added, "Mr. R.V. Deshpande, Minister of large and medium industries, govt of Karnataka, will grace the occasion as chief guest. Among the guests of honour are Moulana Mohammed Maqsood, Imran, imam  and khateeb of City Jamia Masjid, Bangalore; Moulana Ateeque, General Secretary, Marwar Muslim Education & Welfare Society, Jhodpur, Rajasthan, Shri Mankal Vaidya, Bhatakal MLA; and Mr. J.D. Naik, ex-MLA, Bhatkal."

The Anjuman has appealed to the people to  assemble at the Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (Anjuman Engineering  College) at 10:15am on July 17, and after inauguration of the SM Yahya Memorial PG Block, proceed to the premises of the newly built Administrative Block for rest of the function.
