Bhatkal: Continuing its consistent record of academic excellence, Anjuman Girls English Medium High School (Nawayath Colony), Bhatkal, has once again delivered an outstanding performance in the SSLC examinations, achieving an impressive overall pass percentage of 97.14%.
A total of 105 students from the school appeared for the examination, out of which 102 students passed successfully. Notably, 29 students secured distinction, scoring above 85 percent.
Among the top performers, Zainab Safa, D/o Abdul Samee Gawai, emerged as the school topper with an exceptional 96.96%, also securing centum (100%) marks in Urdu and Social Science. She was followed by Fathima, D/o Syed Meeran Barmawar, who secured the second position with 95.36%, while Rizwana Khatoon, D/o Abdullah Kafi Molla, stood third with 94.72%.
A remarkable highlight of this year’s results is the strong performance in Urdu, despite the students being from an English medium background. Students Fathima Nusra, Aysha Naite, Ameena Ruba, Fathima Munazza, Sana Siraj Shaikh, Khadija Quazi, and Rabiya Bisma Shaikh each secured 100% marks in Urdu, reflecting their deep-rooted connection with the language.
In addition, Shiza Shabandari achieved a perfect score of 100% in Social Science, further adding to the school’s academic accomplishments.
